Take your love of floral design to the next level with our immersive Floral Design Essentials class. Whether you’re refining your skills or just diving into the art of flower arranging, this full-day experience is packed with inspiration and learning. You’ll learn the art of designing a hand-tied bouquet and create a stunning large-scale arrangement using a pin frog and chicken wire (no flower foam here!). Plus, enjoy a delicious catered lunch and your designs will be captured by a professional photographer to build your design portfolio. No prior experience? No problem! You’ll leave with the skills, confidence, and creativity to design like a pro.

What will you experience?
We'll begin our time together in the morning with a quick overview of floral design principles and color theory. Then, Niki will demonstrate how to design a hand-tied bridal bouquet, which has many more uses than just a bridal bouquet. We will have a huge display of flowers and foliage for you to begin designing your own bouquet, with one-on-one support and guidance throughout the entire process. After a catered lunch, we will design large-scale statement arrangements. You can also stroll through the fields and snip to your heart’s content. A professional photographer will document the entire day and your designs so that you can begin building your design portfolio. We intentionally limit attendance so that the entire experience is personal and intimate.
No prior floral design experience is necessary! The class runs from 9am - 4pm. All tools, supplies, vases & flowers are included.

We do not maintain a waitlist & each year our workshops sell out quickly. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable; open to participants ages 12+. Our workshops are limited to a small number of participants and the entirety of the workshop will take place outdoors, rain or shine. We adhere to CDC and Buncombe County guidelines regarding COVID-19. A note about safety: Your safety on the farm is paramount and we ask guests to remain on marked paths and follow all instructions from farm staff. Flourish Flower Farm is a working farm with uneven terrain and other risks. We want you to enjoy the experience fully and to remain safe at all times.
